Dining at R Lazy S Ranch

You might think that horseback riding will be the highlight of your trip, but many of our guests say they return each summer just for the food. Our chefs take pride in offering a delicious combination of local and internationally-inspired cuisine. All meals vary and are served as buffets, family-style sit-downs, and cookouts on the ranch property. Children and teenagers have their own dining room with their new friends, separate from the adult guests, making mealtime especially enjoyable for them.

While we can’t always guarantee the weather or wildlife sightings, we know for certain that you will not return from the ranch hungry!

Please note: we do our best to accommodate your dietary preferences and allergies. Please discuss these with our manager at time of booking.

Evenings bring a mix of sit-down and buffet dinners featuring gourmet menus with both local and international flavors. From steak and salmon to creative vegetarian options, every meal ends on a sweet note with house-made desserts. Thursday’s BBQ at the Swimming Hole is a guest favorite, complete with ribs, baked beans, and s’mores by the fire.

BBQ & Chuckwagon Breakfast

While most meals are enjoyed in our historic dining lodge, no trip out West is complete without a true outdoor feast. On Thursday evenings (weather permitting), guests and crew gather at the swimming hole for a classic BBQ dinner featuring ribs, flank steak, baked beans, and corn on the cob. Afterward, enjoy s’mores and cowboy songs around the campfire as the sun sets over the Tetons.

On Wednesday mornings, guests saddle up for a peaceful sunrise ride into Grand Teton National Park, ending at our scenic chuckwagon breakfast near Pete’s Pond. With biscuits and gravy, egg casserole, sizzling bacon, and hot coffee served trailside, it’s a memorable taste of life on the range.
